In 2019, Ali volunteered as a filmmaker for Leeds-based CIC Rethink Food, an award-winning non-profit organisation dedicated to creating a generation of healthy, food-literate, and environmentally conscious young people. Through film, she supported the organisation's mission by documenting its work and amplifying its impact.
