Over four months of travelling and filming in Africa I wrote on old postcards found in Kenyan markets and bookshops. These memories became quiet notes tracing our unconventional passage to Sudan where we stayed for six weeks, a long journey shaped by beauty, fragility, and determination.

The postcards formed an intimate, ongoing conversation with myself and the film I was making. Long after the journey ended, these reflections expanded into a much longer written work. (@linktotext)
